The SB21 Team was very excited to present at the ISTE 2017 summer conference in San Antonio, Tx. The ISTE conference marked the public release of the the LeaderShift 2020 professional learning series which provides prospective and practicing educational leaders throughout the globe with a comprehensive framework based on 6 pillars, 35 elements, and 229 indicators to foster the instructional leadership essential to promote modern schooling and, in turn, best prepare our students for their life and work in this unprecedented, complex and complicated world. As a means of practicing what we preach, the SB21 Team has also created and aligned a robust online collaborative community platform to support the LeaderShift team members across the globe.
Lastly, we are working on a PD2Degree professional development project with Lamar University and Ramapo College. The goal is to provide an opportunity for passionate educations to participate our LeaderShift program as a means to obtain professional development credits or for post graduate degree credits. Ryan Schaaf is the Assistant Professor of Educational Technology at Notre Dame of Maryland University and a Faculty Associate for the Johns Hopkins University School of Education Graduate Program with over 15 years of experience in the education field.

Ian Jukes is the founder and Executive Director of the InfoSavvy Group, an international educational leadership consulting firm. He has been a classroom teacher – teaching every grade from Kindergarten to Grade 12, a school, school district, and Ministry leader, a writer, an international consultant, a university professor, and a keynote speaker. Ian has worked with clients in more than 80 countries and made more than 12,000 presentations. He has written or co-written 18 books and 9 education series. His most recent books include the award-winning Reinventing Learning For the Always-On Generation, Learning Without Classrooms, Teaching the Digital Generation, Living on the Future Edge, Understanding the Digital Generation, and Literacy Is Not Enough. He is currently working on three books – A Brief History of the Future of Education, LeaderShift 2020: Reinventing Our Schools For Extraordinary and Uncertain Times, and Tomorrow Is Here Today: Learning For Modern Times.
